Drinkfield Marsh
The Planning Inspectorate has taken the decision to postpone the Drinkfield Marsh Inquiry and also to increase its duration to 3 days. This follows the emergence of a further interested party in the appeal site and their desire to submit statements and evidence. The likely date for the Inquiry will now be some time in April and we will keep you informed of progress.
Longfield Road
Cabinet approved the Local Transport Plan (LTP) budget in March 2009 and the above scheme was one that was outlined in the Cabinet report as being a priority within the travel safety theme. The need for the scheme was raised by pupils and staff through the school travel plan. Highways Department have now produced an outline plan for consultation as well as a consultation pack and questionnaire.
Bensham Park
The contractors are to make a start on site week commencing 1st March.
The results from the soil testing are awaiting results and depending on what comes from this the date may change but we will keep you updated.
