Harrowgate Farm Play Area.
The legal adoption process for the play area is still not complete despite much chasing from our Community Services Department to Wimpys legal department. I think it’s fair to say that residents, councillors and officers are frustrated with the length of time this process has taken to complete.
Until the adoption is complete Wimpy remain responsible for the maintenance of the play area and we have through our PACT meetings received concerned enquiries from the Police that large pieces of the fence are missing from the perimeter of the area.
We have asked that Wimpy addresses this matter.
The bins in the play area have been used and are overflowing with bags of dog faeces, therefore Streetscene have been asked to empty them.
Glebe Road
It has been noted that the footpath on Glebe Road towards Salter’s Track is covered in dog foul and Streescene have been along today with the sweeper to remove.
The dog waste bin near the former site of the first school entrance which has been knocked by a vehicle and the post is bent on the way down to Salter’s track. Streetscene Team Leader is arranging for this to be re-positioned.
